Thoondil according to the director is no regular triangle love story. The story has, Shaam and Sandya as married couple, and Divya comes between the two. Why and how will only be answered when the movie is released. The comedy track is said to be quite different. Revathi is said to play an important role in the movie. The movie is shot in London by cameraman Anand Kumar. Music is by Abhishek Ray.

Audio release of satru mun kidaitha thagaval
The audio of “Satrumun Kidaitha Thagaval” was released at a glittering function in Chennai on Thursday. Produced by Art Media Technologies and directed by ‘Thakkali‘ Srinivasan, the film is said to be a comedy thriller.
Stuntman Kanal Kannan plays the lead role apart from performing the stunt sequences. Bharathi of “Ammuvagiya Naan” fame plays the heroine. While Kollywood’s forgotten heroine Kausalya has a pivotal role in the film, the comedy track is taken care of by Sethu, who is a familiar mimicry artist of “Kalakkapovadu Yaru (Star Vijay)” fame and Karunaas.
Music is scored by Bala and R. Selvaa is the film’s cameraman.
The movie is produced under Air Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd banner by Bhaskar. The movie is expected to be released by February.

Next kollywood expecting film "Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu"
Produced by Imagine Creations and directed by Susindharan, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu will get going soon. The launch of the movie will take place on the 11th of April 2008 at AVM between 9.30am and 10.30am.
Presiding over the event will be Grammy Winner Vikku Vinayakram, Rama Narayanan, Producers’ Council President, Director KS Ravikumar and Cinematographer Rajiv Menon. The special guests who will be present include Sivasakthi SD Pandian, Kalaipuli G Sekaran, Abirami Ramanathan, Percussionist Sivamani and many others.

Noted director K Balachander released a documentary on the Former President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam titled - A Little Dream, at Narada Gana Sabha. The documentary has been directed and scripted by P Dhanapal and produced by Minveli Media Works.
This 60-minute CD documentary film, capturing the journey of former President A P J Abdul Kalam’s life from Rameswaram to Rastrapathi Bhavan has actor Shobana playing the lead role in the film for which Dr Kalam has given an exclusive interview.
The documentary ends with a visual presentation of a poem “A song of Youth”, written by the former president. During the event director Dhanapal said that the Tamil version of the film would be released in a month’s time. “Importance of Education”, is the theme of the film, which contains sound and video bytes of important people associated with Dr Kalam.

Basking in the blockbuster opening of his new film Race Akshaye is shooting Shortcut with director Neeraj Vora. "He wrote all my films for Priyadarshan. So I know Neeraj very well. I’m thoroughly enjoying myself."
Akshaye plays a director while Arshad Warsi plays a ’bad’ actor. Yet another flick set in the film industry! Amrita Rao is Akshaye’s co-star in Shortcut.
"She’s a very sweet decent girl Though raw she’s a good actress. She’s now coming into her own, " gushes Akshaye as he does about all his co-stars. "I really enjoy working with my actors, male or female. I like being with them. Bouncing off ideas."
He’s reluctant to talk about Shortcut but reveals, "The film has a lot of theatre actors. It’s a character-based energetic film. I like doing energetic films.
In Race I worked on investing a gusto to my character. That’s why I enjoy working with Abbas-Mustan. They give me the freedom to make the best use of my space as an actor.
