Yavarum Nalam is the Madhavan, Neetu Chandra starrer bilingual which is directed by Vikram Kumar of Alai fame. The movie will be released in Tamil and Hindi and the title of the movie will be Channel in Hindi.

A Complaint about Karthika
Actress Karthika who did Thooththukkudi and Pirappu is now being known for leading a group of goondas and doing rowdism.Karthika stays in a rented house for which she agreed to pay Rs 7000 as monthly rent and paid an advance of Rs 50,000 to the building owner Manivannan.After paying the first month rent, she forget to pay rent for other months and whenever the house owner approaches her to collect the rent, some male assistance of her used to chase him out.
As she was to pay a total rent of Rs 49,000, ie for 7 months, the house owner asked her to vacate the house.Karthika, along with her brother, mother, sister and other goondas, not only refused to pay him the rent, but also threatened him his life.
When contacted she says that "I have never met any one named Manivannan. I have signed agreement related to this house with one Preethi Baskar. I am paying rent to that Preethi and I don't know nothing more than that."

Karunas became a Hero
Karunas incongruous looks notwithstanding he is a popular comedian. He made a mark as Lodukku pandi in Nanda. He created a unique record by acting in 17 films in one year. He began his career as a mimicry artiste and a stage singer. Who has begun shooting for the movie Dindugal Sarathy. It is the remake of Vadakku Nokki Endhiram, a Malayalam movie directed by Srinivasan.
He is paired with Nam Naadu fame Karthika and the film will be directed by Sivashanmugan. Dindugal Sarathy will be produced by Dream Towers Ltd.
Dindugal Sarathy, will have Karunas playing a egoist husband, whose wife’s beauty leaves him insecure and unhappy. This leads him to hate good-looking men and how he handles this insecurity forms the movie’s climax.
Rajnikanth completed the dubbing for Kuselan
Rajnikanth completed the dubbing works for Kuselan in Chennai on Saturday.
The movie, directed by P Vasu, is a remake of Malayalam hit Katha Parayumbol.
The shooting was completed last month and the post- production work commenced at Prasad Labs in Chennai recently.
After completing the dubbing, Rajnikanth was all praise for Vasu.
He appreciated him for extracting the best from all the artistes. The movie also features Nayanthara, Pasupathy, Vadivelu among others.
With all works completed, plans are on to release Kuselan this July.
Shreya Saran is neglating simbu rather Dhanush
Shreya Saran will team up with Dhanush for the Tamil remake of Hindi hit Jab We Met. The two had earlier acted together in Thiruvilayadal Arambham.
Jab We Met will be produced in Tamil by Moserbaer and it would go to floors soon after Dhanush completes Padikathavan. Shreya is currently acting in Kanthaswamy with Vikram and a movie opposite Sarath Kumar.
Kathavarayan to Malayan
After Kathavarayan, Karan is playing the lead role in a movie titled Malayan. Directed by a debutant Gopi, the movie brings together Karan and Udhayathara after Thee Nagar. Speaking about the movie, Karan says, ‘it is a story set in a rural milieu.
Gopi has enough talent and I am confident that Malayan would become a hit’.
Upbeat at the positive reviews for his recent release Kathavarayan, he says, ‘ it carried a strong message against liquor and drugs. I am happy it was received well by the masses’.
Gopika is all set to marry a doctor
Mallu girl Gopika is all set to marry doctor Akilesh on July 17th this year - exactly on Aadi 1st.
Doctor Akilesh is now in Ireland. The wedding is scheduled to take place at Saint Mary’s Church situated at Kothamangalam in Kerala. A grand reception will be held at a star hotel in Ernakulam on 20 July for her film world friends.
The young actress has some great movies to her credit such as Kanaa Kanden, Thotti Jaya, Autograph, 4 students, Ponniyin Selvan and the recently released Vellithirai. Director Thulasi Das gave her a debut in his “Pranayamanithooval” which did not do well but got her recognition in the film industry. Director Cheran signed her up for his movie Autograph which was another big hit in 2004.
Gopika is happy that her last movie in Tamil is Vellithirai which is associated with the tinsel world.

Controversy seems to be following Dasavatharam, with just a few more weeks remaining for its release. First it was trouble during audio launch with journalist and media not being given good treatment, Then the rumors related to Jackie Chan, which said that he did not like his Indian visit and Jackie subsequently clearing this in his personal blog, Then the Mallika dress trouble and now its the turn of Hindu Organisations to protest against the objectionable content in the movie.
Nope, its not any more trouble with the dress that Mallika wears, its the clash between saivite and vaishanvite saints during the 16th century AD that is picturized in the movie that the Hindu outfits now find objectionable.
A petition has been filed by International Sri Vaishnava Dharma Samrakshanaa Society, president Swami Govinda Ramanuja Dasa in the Madras High Court and has asked for direction to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to remove scenes. They have also objected to the name of the movie, which hurts the Hindu sentiments.It still remains to be seen if these scenes will be deleted from the movie as the movie has already been issued a clean U certificate by the censor board. The movie has already won the praise of CM Karunanidhi.
Karan has made a striking comeback through Kathavarayan
After the remarkable Kokki, Karan has made a striking comeback through Kathavarayan. The film that features him in a novel role has offered him immense opportunity to show his acting talent. Kathavarayan aka Rayan is a rough man in the village. An illiterate orphan, he has no relatives in the village. He brews and sells arrack in a makeshift shack set in the village outskirts.
Though he does it for his livelihood, he is principled to an extent. Unlike others in his profession, he does not sell it to old people or to young men who have family responsibilities to shoulder. His occupation, his violent and roguish approach, makes him a terror in the village. Even the local police, who are aware of Rayan's dealings, lack the guts to lay down the law on him. So Rayan happily gads about in the village, happily going about his chosen routine.
Easwaran (Kadhal Dhandapani) is businessman who runs a licensed wine shop in the village. Easwaran always views Rayan as his chief business rival. Other than the public fights they get into, at times Easwaran also engages in some foul play to create trouble and hindrance for the village ruffian Rayan.
Malathy (Vidisha) comes to the village as a member in the college NSS league. Her first tryst happens to be Rayan's still. With the care and concern of an educated individual, she informs Rayan of the harmful effects of the arrack and advises him to stop destroying the lives of his fellow villagers by stopping his supply of illicit arrack. Irritated and enraged at the intrusion, Rayan warns her to stay outside from his business. If not, he threatens to burn her alive. Taking the cue, Easwaran deploys his men and tries to get her killed.
It is not easy to sum up the theme of Naan Kadavul
It is not easy to sum up the theme of Naan Kadavul with a catchy one-liner. It is also not easy to fix its perspective in one narrow version. Bala's Naan Kadavul has risen above all definitions and views. Rather than routinely evaluating the movie's credits and loopholes, the narrative is more understandable if looked upon as the creator's intense expression expressed through a variety of characters in the visual field. The benefit will be more if the understanding and application are purely left to individual capability and maturity.
Contrary to the popular views, branding the film as one based on the debate of atheism vs. religion, the movie revolves around the life of an individual named Rudran. Is he a Godman?Is he the 'Kadavul' in the film? Is he a saint, a person who shuns life, its pain and pleasures? Well, he defies fixed identities awarded to individuals based on their lives and deeds. In a way, he is extraordinary and exudes immense energy; he is furiously driven by an unseen force. Rudran is recognizably different from most human beings, yet one amongst us. Though his looks and manner are unkempt, harsh and misleading, and he does not let his greatness show, the wisdom escapes from within this powerful man. So how does one describe Rudran? For common men, he is bizarre and harmful. But for those who view him profoundly, he is a living power symbolising the combination of the most controversial things in God's creation; he stands for triumphs and evil, light and dark, good and bad; his power and majesty lies principally in his unusual assortment. His ideals are practical, not governed by worldly rules; he is certainly not a device of destruction. But his ferocity singes those who deceive themselves and the world by flaunting their cheap instruments of divinity and who display false power and influence.
