Rajnikanth's Kuselan got the green signal

Rajnikanth's Kuselan got the green signal from the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to release in Karnataka but with some restrictions. KFCC allowed the distributor to release only in bangalore with 10 prints.

Kannada organizations like Karnataka Rashtreya Vedika opposing the release of Kuselan in the state because of Rajnikanth's speech in Hogenekkal issue. But the KFCC President Jayamala rejected their pleas and allowed the producer to release the movie. Pyramid Saimira got the all India distribution rights, but in K'taka Niranjan got the rights at a cost of Rs 2 Crores. Rajni fans in Bangalore started their celebration.

New Movie St.Thomas

A movie on St. Thomas is going to be made at a cost of 500 million rupees. As the movie is religion related, politicians including Karunanidhi are queuing up in the inaugural function organized on today (03.07.2008).

Ajith along with his catholic wife Shalini is expected to star in the movie, helping to have a reach in Tamil and Malayalam.

The movie will be made in as many languages possible, and will have the only aim to spread the history and events related to St. Thomas.

Santhome parish in Chennai is doing this project.

Sibiraj going to marry after 8 years in Love

Sathyaraj's son Sibiraj is in deep love with Revathy who lives in Chennai Anna Nagar. Both the families have accepted their love and soon they will marry. This marriage will be an inter-caste marriage.

Sibiraj is from Kongu Nadu and he belongs to Gownder community while Revathy is from Cuddalore and belongs to Mudhaliar community. Revathy has completed her software engineering degree from Venkateswara Engineering College, Chennai and is working for a leading software company in Chennai.

Sibiraj, when asked 'How he managed to reach the heart of Revathy?' says "Revathy is friend of my relative girl Mangeetha. For the past 8 years we both are in love. No one knows still recently about our love and only recently my dad Sathyaraj learnt this and arranged the marriage."

Even though Sibiraj's family is atheist, the marriage will have all the rites and spiritual formalities as Revathy's family is very orthodox and god fearing.

Marriage is fixed on 14 September 2008 and reception will be held on 15 Sep. 2008.
