Rajnikanth’s escapes car blast!
Endhiran is almost there! The much-awaited Rajnikanth film is on the verge of completion of the tiresome long-term filming. Director Shankar kick-started the shooting in September 2008 and has only recently canned the climax fight sequence between Rajnikanth and the villains.
These sequences were shot at an engineering college at Maduravoyal, situated on the outskirts of Chennai. According to the sources, the shot was on Rajnikanth getting out of his car, which was planted with bombs. But while fleeing the coupe the actor got hurt, as the bombs exploded into kingdom come… Rajnikanth was seen limping all over the place and the entire crew including action choreographer Peter Hein were appalled presuming that he was injured. But as soon as the shot got over Rajnikanth, got back to his normal walk, thereby laying rest to the suspicion of him being hurt in the shooting blast.
When we approached the associates of director Shankar to inquire on the release status of the film, they stated that the film would hit the theater screens in April 2010.
Nayan and Sneha to be banned in Tollywood
Nayanthara and Sneha could be banned from the Telugu film industry for not participating in the star night organized for flood relief work.
Since both the stars are leading actresses in Tollywood they were expected to be present during the occasion. Actor Balakrishna had sent a notice to Nayan and Sneha asking them to explain the circumstances for not attending the star night. The ladies are expected to provide a proper answer failing which they will be banned from Tollywood. 
It is worth a mention here that Tamil film stars Rajinikanth, Suriya, Radha Ravi and others were present at the show to show their solidarity.
Sigappu Rojakal to be remade by son
Director Bharathi Raja’s son, Manoj has decided to try his hands on directing a film. He has chosen the smash hit film, Sigappu Rojakal, directed by his father for the purpose.
Sources say that the father and son have set the groundwork rolling and are in the process of recruiting some of the best technicians for the venture. The cast is also yet to be finalized.
However, the music director for the film has been signed up and he is none other than Yuvan Shankar Raja. It is worth a mention here that Yuvan’s father Ilayaraja scored the music for the original version
Nakul SParkles as a Singer Now
As much as an angry young man he’s portrayed to be in his movies, Nakul has a crooner inside him. For starters, he has demonstrated his singing abilities in his debut movie Boys and followed it up with hits in Anniyan (Kaadal Yaanai) and Vettaiyadu Vilayadu
So when the Kandakottai director Sakthivel noticed him humming away Vivega’s lyrics in the recording studio, he decided it would be Nakul who would croon for it. So thought the music director and thus Nakul sung the ‘eppadi ennul kadal vandadu’ number for his upcoming flick Kandakottai. We hear the song would be shot in New Zealand
Kamal to work for Balu Mahendra?
The search of Buddha’s tooth was alleged to be the theme of Kamal’s next with director Mysskin. While confirmed announcement is yet to come on this, it has been discussed in Kollywood circles that Kamal might team up with director Balu Mahendra for a short term project. 
It is said that the legendary cinematographer cum director has a good script exciting enough for Kamal and is waiting for the right time. While the duo shares a perfect rapport and has delivered good flicks like Moondram Pirai and Sathi Leelavathi, their combination once again is sure to bring cheer to fans of both Kamal and Balu Mahendra. But the details of commencement of the project are not yet known- whether it would be pre or post Mysskin’s film. We will keep you posted!
Bhavana's latest Opinion about the movie 'Asal'
She was last seen in Jayamkondan with Vinay after which there appears to have been a dry spell in her Kollywood career. This lull has been broken by her current prestigious venture Asal with Ultimate Star Ajith where she plays the leading lady along with Sameera Reddy. 
However there have been widespread theories that Bhavana is not the actual heroine in Asal and her role is not as meaty as Sameera’s. While clearing the air on this issue, this petite actress said, “People are even wondering how I accepted this role because they think that I am only the second heroine. But it is not so. There are two heroines in the film and I am one of them.” Bhavana further added that she has two duets with Ajith. This should certainly put to rest any ambiguity related to the heroine issue of Asal

Shruthi Hassan in Prabhu Deva's list
Shruthi's very first movie 'Luck' failed to get any luck to her. Luck was a hindi movie and she aimed to shine in that, through her bikini show. Failure made Shruthi to say everyone that she will perform again in hindi and give a great hit, but there was no one to give her opportunity.
When Prabhu Deva came with the offer, Shruthi was forced to accept the offer as she believes that this offer will help her build relationship with Prabhu Deva and get an opportunity in a hindi movie, that he may direct soon.
Kamal now declares that he wanted Shruthi to enter cinema through Tamil movies and wanted first movie of his daughter in Tamil and its only Shruthi preferred hindi.
