Nadigar Sangam has sent notice to actors and actresses including Asin

On April 4, a hunger strike was held by Tamil cinema condemning Karnataka. There was an order for all actors and technicians to participate in it.



But actors Karthick, Arya, Asin , Simran , Navya Nair, Gopika , Padmapriya, Nila and directors Balachander, Bharatiraja, Mani Ratnam, Shankar and many more did not take part in it. In a meeting held on April 8, it was discussed about taking action against them. The South India Nadigar Sangam, Tamil Film Producers' Council, Directors Association and other associations took part in it. It was decided that those who did not take part in the hunger strike should explain within15 days, otherwise action would be taken against them. The 15-day notice period ends today.
